Schinus terebinthifolia (Brazilian peppertree)
It is named after the Brazilian pepper tree, the Aroeira, the rose pepper, the broadleaf pepper tree, and the Florida holly.
Sprawling shrub or small tree with shallow roots, up to 7-10 m high.
The branches can be erect, reclining, or vine-like, all on the same plant.
Evergreen, its shape allows it to thrive in all types of ecosystems: from sand dunes to swamps, where it grows as a semi-aquatic plant.
